Inkport began with six people who all had one thing in common: we were creators. We came together to form a cross-sectional site where we provide stories that hold meaning for us—and hopefully for you too. We are communicators and story-tellers, but rather than allow the outside world to dictate what we are writing about, we choose the stories that are most important to us, and convey them to our readers in the ways we know best. Through photo, video, and written pieces, we aim to explain our experiences with, and our interpretations of, the world and everything that occurs within it.
Our goal is to provide you with stories that get you thinking. We want to educate and to inspire, rather than relay condensed news out of obligation. Each piece on Inkport represents a topic that we are passionate about; some stories are current, some are not, but all stories will ignite thought. As you explore our site, we would like to invite you to exercise your brains alongside us while we traverse our own curiosities and questions. When you visit Inkport, you will be welcomed as a fellow Thinker, and we hope that our interests will allow you to discover a new one of yours.
A port is a meeting place of ideas and perspectives from across the globe. Our Inkport team is spread across the country, and we all have different intellectual interests, lifestyles, and backgrounds. We have come together to provide you with a place to explore a never-ending variety of topics with us. By visiting Inkport, you will leave with greater knowledge to take with you to your next destination.
